MAYA DEREN

Maya Deren is washed to shore and she soon climbs her way to a civilized world where she is completely ignored. Then she finds herself in a jungle then back again switching several times. Deren emerges from the jungle to find a small road where she is introduced to three or four other travelers who lead her to a little house. Underneathe the house Deren encounters a man in bed, they stare at each other. After leaving the house she slowly decends back to the shore of her birth. She does it all for the white pawn. These are the things dreams are made of. Through editing, the creation of impossible scenarios and incomprehensible genius we get the impression that maybe this is a dream.
